Founded May 15, 2010 in honor of our son, Jacob Bullock, a young 14 year old who perished in a heroic attempt to save his friend from what they thought was a frozen lake. His nick name was JB.  In tribute to his character and bravery, we use these initials to encourage young people to “Jus B.” Jus B-Kind, Jus B-Honest, Jus B-Helpful, Jus B-Positive, Jus B-about Character.  To assist them, we provide one-on-one and group mentoring opportunities, tutoring and academic assistance, community service opportunities, and character building activities.
"Be more concerned with your character than your reputation.  Your character is who you really are.  Your reputation is merely what others think you are.”  John Wooden

JUS B WRISTBANDS
When we say someone has good character we are expressing the opinion that his or her nature is defined by worthy traits like integrity, courage, and compassion. People of good character are guided by ethical principles even when it’s physically dangerous or detrimental to their careers, social standing, or economic well-being. They do the right thing even when it costs more than they want to pay.

No one is born with good character; it’s not an hereditary trait.  Character is established by conscientious adherence to moral values.  Like a well-made tower, character is built stone by stone, decision by decision.   Michael Josephson – Character Counts

2012 Maturin Scholarship Recipient
Congratulations to Kayla Thompson, our 2012 Mathurin Scholarship recipient.  Kayla is an honor student at Dacula High school and plans to attend North Georgia College & State University in the fall of 2012, where she will study Early Childhood Education.  While focusing on her studies, Kayla has also participated in FCCLA, Art and Key Club, and has managed to volunteer with the American Cancer Society Relay for Life, teach Vacation Bible School and log more than 300 hours at St. Mary's Nursing Home. WOW!  What a busy girl.  Kayla's references rave about her leadership and character and we are so honored to award her the 2012 Mathurin Scholarship. Good luck at North Georgia College!  We believe in you!
